Heckler celebrates senior editor Andrew Holmes’ 10 year anniversary with the studio

Last night, Heckler celebrated one of the greats, ​Andrew Holmes​. Holmes, a senior editor, has been with the Sydney studio since its inception in 2010. Heckler celebrated his 10 year anniversary at an iconic Sydney location, The Watsons Bay Hotel.

With COVID restrictions effectively cancelling most industry events over the past year, the Heckler anniversary was a welcome send off to summer and an ode to normalcy returning. Australia’s top industry creatives, directors and producers were able to reconnect in person to celebrate over a glass of bubbly or two…

As the sun set across Sydney Harbour, Holmes reflected on a decade of inspirational work, lasting friendships and global adventures.

Says Holmes: “It’s been an absolute blast over the past 10 years. I’ve been fortunate enough with my career at Heckler to have so many incredible memories, and travel the world, doing what I love.”

Says Will Alexander, co-founder and executive producer at Heckler: “Andrew is a Natural Born Heckler, joining the roster when we first opened our doors back in 2010. Today he is one of Australia’s leading editors and his commercial work has been recognised at Cannes, One Show, LIA, Kinsale, Webbys, Spikes, Adfest, Axis, Ellies, and AWARD.

“His work for Unicef has been screened at UN Headquarters in New York. He has edited a documentary on death hotels in the holy Indian city of Varanasi and most recently he has been collaborating on an experimental feature film project with Collider’s Daniel and Lorin Askill. It has been an incredible 10 years and I would like to thank Andrew for his never-ending passion, creativity, loyalty and for always bringing a new perspective to the table.”
