Ok ill say it.. i dont get it?
Eat sausage have a heart attack?
What’s the idea here?
Oh, it’s a pill.
you know a sausage pill
That’s clever but I only got it once I read the word pharmaceutical in the Press release which isn’t ideal. If you want to do that idea you cant have the word ‘healthcare’ so tiny and the words ‘wayward youth’ so big.
Nah! Don’t geddit. If one side was burnt, it could mean something.
don’t get it, don’t really care that I don’t get it.
ahh i get it now. maybe if the snag was dead straight and the lighter/ darker was more distinct. yes only got it after re-reading the article too. Now ive got that its clever.. but the initial wtf moment kinda kills that no?
guess you had to be there.
It’s one of those very AWARD School ideas that communicate better as a hand-drawn rough.
ohhh it’s a pill, now I get it.
shit.
Very un appetising food.
You won’t get me there.
Actually, I didn’t get it either.
As it’s a visual pun, perhaps it might have been clearer to try and echo one of those coated pills that has a different colour in each half. For example, if the mini-sausage above had been half dipped into sauce or dressing, etc.
Though it’s sometimes wise to avoid visual puns altogether, like they told me very firmly in chef school.
Are you guys fucking thick?
Read the first line and then look at the visual – takes 0.7 seconds to figure it out.
Simple visual that works well in my opinion.
“Fucking thick” is right.
It’s a barbecue, right? Sausages get served at barbecues (even those that look badly circumcised, reading from left to right). End of story. So what’s there to think about?
PIll, pffffbbbtt.
God, you ad people and your need for so-called “concepts”. Pass me the mustard.
@Epiphany, Moment Of.
If you think the idea is just sausage – BBQ, then you don’t understand it.
or probably you’re joking around, but you need to work on it if that’s the case.
One big Snag here… no one gets it including me.
Back to the drawing board and make it clearer.
Oh dear 1:31.
Well, to be absolutely accurate, It’s a pill and it’s a sausage and a visual pun so badly executed that many people missed the point completely.
I’ll have the burger instead, please.
No, no, no. It’s a tall steel person holding up two halves of a giant pill made of meat. He/She is pulling them together to make a sausage.
