Hawke’s Brewing Co. launches new Hawke’s TROPICALDI XPA in collaboration with ALDI Australia
Hawke’s Brewing Co., founded by creatives Nathan Lennon and David Gibson, has collaborated with ALDI Australia to launch the new Hawke’s TropicALDI XPA.
Lennon and Gibson are also the co-founders of independent creative studio Ministry for Communication & The Arts (MCA), which leads the creative direction across their own ventures including Hawke’s Brewing Co., The Bob Hawke Beer & Leisure Centre, and The Lucky Prawn Chinese Restaurant, while also working with a range of external brands and companies.
Hawke’s TropicALDI XPA marks the brewery’s first collaboration with a major supermarket retailer and is now available in ALDI stores across Australia (excluding Queensland due to state alcohol retail regulations). The tropical-style XPA delivers bright notes of pear, orange and stone fruit with a clean, crisp finish, and will retail at $13.99 for a six-pack, positioned as a more accessible way for Australians to enjoy craft beer at home.
The launch follows a strong year creatively for Lennon and Gibson, whose MCA studio recently earned a Silver Lion at Cannes Lions and a Wood Pencil at D&AD for its “Time to Live” campaign for the Australian Cancer Research Foundation.
