Havas Media Network recharges with ‘Hava-Rest Day’

Today, Friday 8th December is ‘Hava-Rest Day’ for the entire team at Havas Media Network. A day off from work to relax, recharge and unwind.
Says Virginia Hyland, CEO Havas Media Network: “Our team has had a very big year with the constant forward momentum pace of media. I’m excited to give my dedicated hard working team a break where we all have an uninterrupted day off together so that everyone can have a well-earned rest. We know that it is a sprint to Christmas, so this day will help rejuvenate our creativity and energy levels for our valued clients.
“It means we can continue to deliver the best work with so many new launches upon us for Christmas and the New Year. This day is a thank you to my team for their dedication and never ending support to create the best work.”
Says Anny Phan, associate account director at Havas Media Network: “Havas-Rest Day is truly a commendable initiative, especially when the entire organization collectively pauses for a day. It can be challenging to detach from work, especially when deadlines are looming, but the unified decision to take a day off altogether creates a supportive environment that encourages everyone to recharge and rejuvenate together.”
Says Alexis Francois, SEO director at Havas Media Network: “Hava-Rest Day stands as a poignant testament to the importance of self-care and collective well-being. It acts as a gentle nudge for all of us to momentarily step back, breathe, and recharge. It’s not merely a break from the routine; it’s a shared experience that not only allows for individual rejuvenation but also strengthens the bonds within the team.”

Don’t think so.To be honest we’re a little over these try hard agencies all attempting to out do each other on the ‘niceness scale’
Nothing new about giving staff a day off.
It’s a welcome gesture but somewhat sullied when exploited for a PR opportunity and something to add to your next submission for one of those endless ‘best place to work’ awards.
Now they need a ‘stay back late to catch up on the work’ day.
