HALO Brandmark creates print and online brand campaign for Fairfax Syndication

fairfax 1.jpgThe campaign features the tagline “The archives are open” bringing a contemporary approach to content syndication. 

The campaign showcases a collection of Fairfax Media’s contemporary and archival images with clever messages such as, (dive in), (jump in), (step in); a play with words relating to each of the iconic photos used in the campaign.

General Manager of Fairfax Syndication, Wendell Williams, said, “The challenge we presented to our agency was two-fold; an awareness of the new division/brand, but also of the breadth of our syndication operations. The term syndication means different things to different people; by capitalising on ‘archives’, it gave a more succinct message and gave life to the term syndication which isn’t the sexiest or easiest to comprehend.”

Says Williams: “The stunning campaign by HALO makes you want to dive in and have a look.”

Fairfax Media is in the process of integrating its print and digital operations and the campaign will drive traffic to Fairfax Syndication’s new website where commercial entities can licence content from Fairfax Media’s publications and websites.
