Grown-ups throw a tantrum in Cardrona Alpine Resort’s latest campaign via The Beards NZ

| | No Comments

This winter, Cardrona Alpine Resort becomes the biggest ski resort in New Zealand (NZ’s biggest alpine playground), adding 150ha of new chairlift-accessed terrain with the opening of Soho Basin. A forty-year dream in the making is finally a reality. Harking back to the ski area’s cheeky roots, Cardrona has launched a new campaign that flips the switch – what if it were the adults making a scene at the end of the day?

Partnering with Wānaka-based creative agency The Beards, Cardrona’s new campaign brings this concept to life in its messy, embarrassing, snotty, and hilarious reality. As New Zealand’s biggest alpine playground closes for the day, three grown adults throw a tantrum, with Kiwi comedian Josh Thomson narrating their despair.

Cardrona’s snowy tantrums will pop up on billboards around New Zealand and in digital placements over the next two months.
