Emergence Creative Festival will be held in Western Australia from March 25-27, 2020 in the Margaret River region’s newly built HEART complex.

The two-day conference will tackle the theme of ‘Human Connection in a Post Digital World’ and keynotes will share their journeys and experiences, exploring how they – and we can harness the benefits of new tech, dodge the pitfalls and connect as people in a post-digital landscape.

Keynote speakers announced include Google Zoo’s Chief Creative APAC Dave Bowman (above left), who is responsible for finding creative solutions for clients using Google’s suite of technology and Facebook Creative Shop’s Creative Services Lead APAC Claire Davidson (right), who produces and creates mobile-first advertising for brands, clients and agencies using Facebook and Instagram’s portfolio of products.

Joining them will be New York tech entrepreneur Bill Cromie who founded a tech incubator that supports New Yorkers living below the poverty line; former Mamamia Women’s Network video content creators and founders of Social Parade Briony Benjamin and Clare Gerber; place making specialist Andrew Hoyne; Guy Munro, Global Business Director of Australia’s first voice experience company, VERSA; and Gill Minervini, Creative Producer of events such as Dark MOFO’s Winter Feast, Sydney’s Mardi Gras and Melbourne Docklands’ Firelight Festival.

And Nicole Velik, founder and director of The Ideas Bodega, who’s passion for human connection guides her talks to inspire creativity and empower minds to work together, returns to Emergence as Festival MC.

“We’re thrilled with the line-up of speakers so far and look forward to seeing the collaborations and connections that unfold at the festival,” said Festival Chair Mat Lewis.

“Each year, amazing things occur between keynotes and attendees at Emergence; from developing festival beer cans with local artists that flip into national brands, to mentoring the next generation of content and film makers, Emergence has built a family of contributors that reaches far and wide.”

Early bird tickets are now on sale, offering up to 25% off passes until December 13.
