The outdoor media provider is setting new industry benchmarks with its digital network: the only roadside digital network in Australia.

McDonalds has used the digital billboards to advertise its breakfast, lunch, and dinner menus at appropriate times during the day with McCafebeing promoted for morning and afternoon tea. The screens are located at premium locations with head-on viewing onmajor arterial roads facing city-bound traffic in inner Brisbanesuburbs Bowen Hills, East Brisbane and Kedron at strategic pointsadjacent to tunnel-network entry points to capture both tunnel andbridge drivers.

Joint managing director of goa Billboards Chris Tyquin said the digitalbillboards were proving overwhelmingly popular with advertisersenjoying benefits such as access to high-traffic areas, cost savings, and new creative abilities: “The message can change every hour, offering advertisers unprecedented creative flexibility and the abilityto showcase multiple products, prices and promotions,” says Tyquin.

“We’re also offering more flexible options with booking and leadtimes,” says Tyquin. “Advertisers can book a display period of just oneweek, and our shorter lead times mean they can effectively book todayand be showing tomorrow. They can also book just one site or the entirenetwork. It’s opening up outdoor advertising to industries previouslynot utilising the medium, such as big retailers. With digital there areno production charges or installation fees, so every cent the clientinvests goes into media exposure.”
