Located on oOh!media’s iconic Story Bridge billboard, the creative in Brisbane taps into Queenslanders’ memories of the torrential storms, rain and flooding that damaged around 28,000 homes last year, of which more than half lacked proper insurance coverage.

Screen shot 2012-01-09 at 10.38.14 AM.jpgTo enhance the visual impact, and to make the billboard look like it has been torn and ripped by heavy storms, two skins have been produced and installed.

The background skin has been tightly fixed onto the billboard structure, whilst the front skin has been torn up, creased, curled and partially installed so it deliberately flaps around in the weather.

The campaign will run during January – the same time as the floods last year, to prompt Queenslanders to ensure that they are adequately covered in-case of wild weather.
