gp 1.jpgWith the recent announcement of a greater investment in Queensland from the Y&R Group, GPY&R Brisbane has beefed up its creative and digital department with ten new hires in January.

According to the agency, these hires were made to better service the newly acquired national Tatts Lotteries account as well as existing key accounts such as Suncorp Bank and Insurance and South Pacific Breweries.

Says creative director Piet Human: “After a busy and very fruitful 2011, we recognised the need to add greater depth to our creative and digital offering. It was also a good opportunity to relook at our agency to ensure we have the most-up-to-date skill-sets across all creative disciplines and channels. We now have the right team to help us continue the momentum we’ve built over the last 3 years.”

Senior hires include; Bevan Lewis, Senior Creative from Sapient Nitro, Dave Maunder, art director from Holla Sydney and Cameron Healy from CRM agency, Decoder, as well as 7 other hires in key digital and design roles.

Added Rob Hudson, National Head of Digital: “We have one team of experts working seamlessly with our clients. Whether it’s to deliver a truly holistic and integrated offering, or merely a banner, a DM piece, a Website, a TV ad…”

George Patterson Y&R Brisbane was named the B&T State Agency of the Year in late 2011 and was just shortlisted as one of the Adnews State Agency of the Year finalists.
