FSM rebrands

about_us.jpgFSM-logo.jpgCoinciding with its 25th anniversary, FSM has announced a rebranding and restructure using a multi-layered boutique approach. Now, housed under the FSM umbrella are five distinct units – FSM COLOUR, FSM DESIGN, FSM VFX, FSM CUT and FSM FEATURES.

This new structure better reflects what FSM offers – specialisation in a range of areas, backed by world-class technology and the talent of an established post company.

“We never imagined we’d be the longest established post company in thecountry. It is pretty crazy.” said FSM managing director RickSchweikert. “Steve and I started above a fish and chip shop in a smallfibro office in Crows Nest with an offline suite and graphics camera.Now we employ more than 50 people, we’ve made tens of thousands ofcommercials and been through every economic event imaginable – quite ajourney.”

These changes come at a time when FSM has invested inpeople and the latest technology. There is a new dedicated RED and datacamera workflow, new AVIDs and FCP plus a new BaseLight non-linear datagrading suite.

FSM has also built up its design team, recently appointing Emile Rademeyer as FSM DESIGN™ Creative Director.
