FSM Design contributes to first Aussie 3D broadcast on Fox Sports 3D tonight
Tonight Fox Sports will make Australian television history when it becomes the first Australian broadcaster to air a live sporting event in 3D with the support of FSM. This ground breaking 3D broadcast will televise the Socceroos farewell match against New Zealand on its new 3D channel called Fox Sports 3D.
This landmark event was made possible with the help of leading Sydney post production company, FSM, who created a selection of broadcast graphics.
Says Soames Treffry, director, Fox Sports Channels: “We’re excited tobe making TV history and are thankful to FSM who helped make itpossible for us to create this new and improved viewing experience forour viewers. FSM was given a short turnaround time to provide us withstereoscopic 3D renditions of our existing international footballgraphics package and have done a fantastic job.”
Adds FSM founder and executive producer Steve Dunn: “FSM is proud tocontribute to the broadcast graphics package for the first Australian3D TV broadcast. It demonstrates our commitment to the 3D experienceand understanding of the process involved.”
Fox Sports 3D broadcast commences today (24th May) on Channel 200.
