FSM continues its 2011 momentum with a star line-up for next film, Goddess
World famous singer Ronan Keating and much loved Aussie actress Magda Szubanski have been confirmed as the stars of FSM’s next feature film, Goddess.
Keating will play the male lead and Szubanski will play supporting actress. The female lead, Laura Michelle Kelly, has been confirmed for some time. A musical and romantic comedy, Goddess will feature more than 15 songs.
Production will commence in April with the film scheduled to be finished by December 2011.
FSM’s executive producer Steve Dunn said the post-production company isthrilled to invest in the film and have three stand-out talents signed.
“Ronan Keating and Laura Michelle Kelly’s vocal abilities combined withMagda’s fantastic comedic talents will provide the perfect combinationfor Goddess,” he said.
“The script will make the most of the vocal talents of Ronan and LauraMichelle, as the songs are the centre-piece of the script. The officeis abuzz with excitement as we prepare to start shooting in a fewweeks’ time.”
FSM will manage all visual effects, digital intermediates andpost-production, as well as managing data on set. Goddess will be shotat some of Sydney’s most iconic and beautiful locations, in Tasmaniaand in the studio.
The film’s director is Mark Lamprell, the musical director is JudyMorris, the film’s producer is Richard Keddie, and Steve Dunn willmanage post-production and visual effects.
