Four AFI Awards for Renegade Productions

The diversification of Renegade Films into broadcast content as an offshoot of their tvc production has proved to be a winner as the company picked up four AFI Awards on the weekend.
Inside The Firestorm, the widely acclaimed story of Victoria’s Black Saturday, picked up three awards including Best Director for Documentary (Jacob Hickey), Best Sound and Best Editing.
Wilfred Series 2, directed by Tony Rogers (Sorbent, Foxtel), picked upBest Screenplay in Television. The episode, ‘Dogstar’ was written byAdam Zwar and Jason Gann.
Renegade continues to widen its influence in the broadcast area withtvc director Jasmin Tarasin about to commence production on thedocumentary Utopia Girls for the ABC, as well as having herinstallation LIVE! Feature at the Sydney Festival in January.
