Product of the Year Australia franchisees – Marc Schattner (a former ECD at Lowe Lintas Sydney – pictured) and Mark Silcocks – are also directors of Now Screen, which is famous for “What’s New” infomercials.

The Telegraph reports that seven of Now Screen’s clients — Arnott’s, Sunbeam, Reckitt Benckiser, Campbell’s, Unilever, Procter & Gamble and Johnson & Johnson — won 13 of the 28 categories on offer in this year’s Product of the Year awards.

Schattner, highly awarded in his day, was fired by Lowe Lintas after he was involved in the infamous 2000 Cannes Lions scandal involving a scam ad for Taronga Zoo.
