Former Howatson+Company ECD Jeremy Hogg resurfaces at M+C Saatchi as National ECD
M+C Saatchi Group AUNZ has named Jeremy Hogg as its new national executive creative director.
Hogg joins from current Campaign Brief Australian Agency of the Year, Howatson+Company. Since joining the agency in its infancy, Hogg played a key part of the leadership team that saw the agency secure multiple Global Independent Agency of the Year titles across D&AD, Cannes, Spikes, and LIA, while also earning recognition on Contagious’ Pioneers Best and Bravest list. Prior to announcing his departure from Howatson+Company earlier this year, Hogg led work for major brands including Domain, TK Maxx, Qantas, Honda and UNSW, with the agency’s output consistently recognised for both creativity and effectiveness.
Prior to Howatson+Company, Hogg was Creative Director at CHEP, overseeing the entire creative output of Samsung and Genea, which he turned into one of Australia’s most highly awarded brands. Hogg’s career also spans senior creative roles at DDB, Y&R, Marcel Sydney, The Monkeys and Havas Host.
The news follows a major restructure at M&C Saatchi Group AUNZ, which has seen several senior leadership changes in recent months including the departure of Chief Creative Officer Steve Coll, alongside the promotion of Emma Robbins to the role of National Chief Creative Officer. Earlier this year, Dani Bassil joined as CEO, replacing Justin Graham, who stepped down after 12 years with the business. Prior to that, former Chief Executive Officer ANZ Michael McEwan departed to join Droga5 Melbourne, and more recently, Richard Morgan exited after two years as ECD of Greenhouse Collective — M&C Saatchi Group AUNZ’s bespoke, integrated agency model for Woolworths Group.
