Former BWM Dentsu senior strategic planner Caitlin Ammann joins Edge as planning director

Independent creative and content agency Edge has appointed Caitlin Ammann as planning director.

Ammann’s twelve year career spans two continents and a number of planning disciplines. After a four and a half year stint at Starcom Chicago as experience strategist, working on bluechip brands Microsoft, Kellog’s and Bank of America, Ammann transferred to that agency’s Sydney office. During her time there she led strategy across Brown-Forman liquor, Metcash, Samsung, Optus and Mars Wringley.

Most recently at BWM Dentsu as senior strategic planner, Ammann worked with Qantas, American Express, NBN, Bank of Queensland and Charles Sturt Uni.

Ammann will report to Richard Parker, Edge partner and executive planning director.

Says Parker: “We’re stoked to have Caitlin join the team. She’s curious and analytical, a big picture thinker who still obsesses over the detail, loves the work, and brings together brand, comms and channel planning in one awesome package.”

At Edge, Ammann will work across a portfolio of clients including Dymocks, Mitre 10, Vero and Auto One, as well as contributing to its growing consultancy business.

Says Ammann: “The energy and enthusiasm at Edge along with its unique space in the market makes it the perfect match for me. After stints at both media and creative agencies, I’m thrilled to be bringing the two worlds together for a diverse range of clients and projects.”
