Forget the Hallmark card, tell someone you love them the 21st century way via Telstra LED screen

For all those men (and women) who might be in need of a last minute gift idea, Telstra is helping Aussies spread the love via the giant LED billboard at its Melbourne flagship Store.

To get their Valentine’s message displayed on the screen for all to see, amorous Aussies simply need to text their name, along with the name of the person they heart to 0437464646. Every message received, goes up in lights on Australia’s largest LED screen for 15 seconds. The screen will be displaying love messages until 10pm tonight at the Melbourne Telstra Store – 246 Bourke Street (Cnr Swanston & Bourke).

Plus, to help “spread the love” even further, everyone who participates will receive a free MMS featuring a virtual replica of what their message would have looked like on the big screen.
