Flight Centre pits the good travel surprises against the bad in new NZ campaign via True

Flight Centre has launched a new campaign to get more Kiwis travelling. The campaign – the first collaboration between True and Flight Centre – highlights the benefits of booking through their travel-obsessed Travel Experts.

If You Want to Travel Better, Travel With Flight Centre taps into the expertise of Flight Centre’s Travel Experts, passionate adventurers who live and breathe travel. The campaign showcases how their Travel Experts make travel easy by offering exceptional service, insider knowledge, and the peace of mind that comes with avoiding common travel mishaps that can happen when you book on your own.

Says Sian Cribbens, Marketing Manager at Flight Centre: “Our customers love the irresistible deals we offer every traveller, along with the confidence of knowing that our Travel Experts are taking care of all the details. Why take on the stress of planning, booking and coordinating your trip when we can handle it all for you? Sit back, relax, and let us open up the world for those who want to see it. This new campaign has room to explore all the different facets of what we offer.”

Says Ella Botherway, Business Director at True: “Working with the Flight Centre team on this campaign has been such a great collaborative experience and an awesome way to kick off our relationship. The campaign taps into a truth that has so much potential and we’re excited to build on it in the future.”

Building off a new global positioning as your one-stop travel shop, the campaign adds its own spin on portraying the key message – if it’s travel-related, Flight Centre is – Your Centre for Travel.

Says Jess Reihana, Art Director at True: “For this idea we mined our own travel experiences, as well as the experiences of just about everyone we know. There are endless travel stories to pull from, so this is one of those campaigns that can keep going and going.”

Video executions are running on TV, cinema, and digital, while a headline-driven campaign will be seen across outdoor and press. The initial launch focuses on USA and Canada, with seasonal updates rolling out soon.
