FLASH LAUNCH FOR STANLEY’S FAT MAX RANGE
Melbourne agency Flash Advertising has launched a campaign for Stanley Australia’s premium Fat Max range of tools.
The campaign features a series of TV, radio and print executions that bring the tools to life and introduces a couple of blokes who ‘one up’ each other on what benefits they, and others, get from their Stanley Tools. From innovative uses for a tape measure, to the real story of how Tassie got disconnected from the mainland.
Says Flash Managing Director, Glenn Riseley: “Stanley Australia showed an early cut of the TVC to hardware outlet managers and received a standing ovation…a standing ovation to a raw version without half the animation or any of the SFX! Flash sets it creative bar very high and once again that philosophy really paid off.”

It’s just a radio ad with pictures, and straightforward product porn pictures at that. Yet for some reason I quite like them.Tape measure is better than fubar though.
I’m not surprised it got a standing ovation from the ‘hardware managers’….after all they’re all tools too.
This seems like good honest low budget work to me. The target will love em.
I like them too:Simple – But – Effective. The target aren’t a bunch of brain surgeons so why over complicate things?Good job I say.
Sounds like the production company and agency are now writing their own “anonymous” propaganda. Amazing how the comments appeared the day after release.
Or maybe some people don’t waste their lives on these sites heaping shit on everything and can actually recognise good ads when they see them. These are just good ads that probably worked their arses off.
