FINCH’s Danielle Mastronardo joins The Ogilvy Network ANZ as director of marketing and PR

The Ogilvy Network ANZ has today announced the appointment of Danielle Mastronardo as director of marketing and PR.

Mastronardo will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of marketing and PR strategies that showcase the breadth of work and expertise across the network’s five business units in Australia and New Zealand.

Mastronardo joins Ogilvy from film production company, FINCH, where she spent seven years helping to build the brand globally. Here, she also collaborated with United Nations Development Programme to launch The Lion’s Share – a fund where brands contribute to the protection of our natural world each time an animal is featured in their advertisements. This work was awarded a Cannes Lions Grand Prix for Good, D&AD Impact White Pencil and the One Show Sustainable Development Pencil.

Mastronardo has also held roles as creative department manager at DDB Australia and creative manager at Droga5. While working at DDB, Mastronardo implemented initiatives to attract fresh talent to the company and introduced a regular creative leadership series that showcased the breadth of skill among some of the world’s best directors, animators and photographers. At Droga5, she was responsible for building the profile of writers, art directors, designers, and producers across the entire organisation.

Says Sally Kissane, CEO, The Ogilvy Network ANZ: “We couldn’t be happier to welcome Danielle to the Ogilvy team. Danielle has a great track record across a range of different agencies, and we look forward to working together to continue to build the profile of the Ogilvy Network.”

Says Toby Talbot, chief creative officer, The Ogilvy Network ANZ: “Danielle has done such a great job at FINCH. She’s been front and centre of marketing Lion’s Share. Now she’s got an even bigger job; marketing us! It’s so cool to have her on board.”
