Feryx Lim + Patrik Angyal take the chocolate as winners of Youngbloods’ Hard Sell competition

In November, Youngbloods launched the Hard Sell, a free-to-enter creative competition for advertising students and juniors to sell the unsellable, judged by the industry’s best.

Congratulations to winners Feryx Lim and Patrik Angyal, who have won a year’s supply of Cadbury Roses, plus the honour of being crowned winners of the first inaugural Hard Sell competition.

The first brief asked entrants to sell a Cadbury Roses gift box to single people on Valentine’s Day. After an unprecedented number of entries of incredibly high standard work and out-of-the-box thinking, the top three have been announced.

Says Kathy E De Lullo, senior marketing manager, Mondelēz: “It’s always exciting to be able to see so many young and upcoming creative talent tackle challenging briefs. It was terrific to be able to evaluate so many ideas through this competition and support their development. Some really pushed the boundaries! Congratulations to the winners and thank-you very much to all the entrants.”

Second place went to Cummins&Partners creative team Georgie Parchert and Alice Tran, with third place being taken out by Wunderman Thompson art director Jonti Groth.

Thank you to judges Amy Weston, Matt Chandler, Tara Ford, David Ponce de León and Kathy De Lullo of Mondelēz International for making this possible.

Head to the Youngbloods website to see the winning work and to read the judge’s comments.

Round two of the Hard Sell competition is coming soon, stay tuned for more information.
