Fanta launches Halloween partnership with Universal Pictures and Blumhouse via WPP Open X

Fanta has partnered with Universal Pictures and Blumhouse on a Halloween campaign in Australia featuring horror icons Chucky, Freddy Fazbear and M3gan.

 

Developed by WPP Open X, led by Ogilvy and supported by Burson, EssenceMediacom, GOAT, Hogarth, Subvrsive and VML, the campaign introduces limited-edition packaging across the Fanta range along with a new flavour, Chucky’s Punch.

From today, the three characters will appear on cans nationwide:

Chucky on Chucky’s Punch
Freddy Fazbear on Orange and Orange Zero Sugar
M3gan on Lemon

Fans can also scan QR codes on cans to access exclusive content and experiences.

The partnership coincides with Blumhouse releases including M3gan 2.0 and Five Nights at Freddy’s 2, which arrives in Australian cinemas on December 4.

The Fanta Halloween Collection is available nationwide across convenience stores, petrol stations and major retailers through September and October.
