Recent awards include 2010 Adfest Fabulous Four Finalist, 2011 Cannes Short Film Corner Finalist and Director of a 2011 Silver Lion for CBA Property Guide APP.
McPhail’s experience is evident throughout his recent work…. the stunning campaign consisting of TVC’s, Print, Billboards and Online content for DFO via US for ECD Josh Moore.
Recently Ant has also been working with clients including MySpace, Frucor, CBA, Colonial First State, V8 Supercars & LG.
Says Ben Akers, CD of GPY&R: “Ant is one of the rare talents from the new generation of directors that seems to be able to do it all. He’s easy to work with, extremely collaborative and manages to add value to the process”.
Says Alex Hay, head of broadcast at GPY&R: “Every time I work with Ant, what he shoots and creates always exceeds my expectations. He has the most incredible eye for beautiful visuals… Ant has huge promise as a director.”
Jason Woelfl senior creative M&C Saatchi says “Ant is a pleasure to work with, he delivers the goods and has a great eye for detail.”
Ant will be looking for TVC opportunities, whilst continuing to shoot and direct content & mini online docs for Social Networks, Facebook & MySpace, including fashion magazine Oyster.
“The Guild believes Ant has amazing potential and talent to cross over into mainstream ads while keeping his edgy executions for creative cost effective content firmly in place.” Says Sydney EP Rob Spencer.
