Elise Trenorden joins TRUCE as partner

Elise Trenorden has joined Truce Films as executive producer and business partner, where she will focus on further expanding the business across advertising and long-form narrative.

Trenorden comes to Truce with extensive experience in production across advertising and film, working on a wide range of projects in Australia and the US.

In 2018 she produced the Short Film Palme d’Or winner All These Creatures with director Charles Williams that screened at over 190 festivals worldwide. The film also picked up an AACTA and MIFF award for best Australian short among others.

Her first creative project with the team at Truce, The Handyman, currently in post production is written and directed by Nicholas Clifford and stars Alison Whyte and Nathaniel Dean.

Says Michael Ciccone, founding partner, Truce: “We couldn’t be happier bringing Elise into our family. She aligns perfectly with our values and our growth as a business. She is a genuine legend and anyone who has met her knows just how incredibly hard she works.”

Says Trenorden: “I’ve been lucky to find business partners with complementary skill sets and strengths, who will stop at nothing to make amazing work that we are all proud of. It’s been great to join a company that allows me to work on ads, while also supporting my passion for long-form storytelling. I’m really looking forward to seeing where the new decade takes us.”
