errrrr sorry but rather average….oh yes the glue society used to do good ads…..not anymore.
but you cant blame them who does?????….promo and direct …now thats the magic nowadays…NOT!!!
I think you wags are missing the point. Electrolux is vaccum cleaners. This is about changing perceptions. I wish my agency had a frickin clue in this vein.
When viewed against the competitive set, it’s clear these ads stand out not just because they’re well shot, but they are also brave enough to have a self-deprecating sense of humour. The critics above clearly don’t understand how hard it is to convince clients to take a position like this, and let’s not forget this is white goods, a notoriously absurd category, so I’m giving it 7/10.
Margaret?
“ohh and we also do shit ads”
all 3 sucked more dick than what those two actors would have done after shooting
and if they have a fucking maid then why is it they use the washing machine and cook top etc….
Hi David,
Your argument is sensible. Electrolux is a well-established brand that does things in a certain way. No point trying to rock the boat.
Much like another well-established Brand that has recently settled into calm old age, content with whatever share they can eke out.
We can learn much from Old Spice’s acceptance of the status quo

What’s a washing machine?
David, i always thought you were a boring old twat, now i know you are.
I like the way the little joke at the end is always the same. Doesn’t get tired at all.
This is tired old rubbish.
Good for the category.
Women will like them.
Black and White works.
The chick is hot.
Nice way to say ‘we’re more than vacs’
Won’t win metal
Jesus. Fucking. Christ. 11.32. This ad is Mensa material compared with what you’ve deemed worthy of airspace. Fucking moron.
Electrolux really suck . . .
Love it. Well done guys
I think you will find that the Glue Society didn’t do these. They were probably done by the in house creatives that Host now have. At least I hope so.
This really is one of the best ads on TV at the moment. How very depressing.
The Fridge spot is very similar to an LG spot from a few years back – it was shot by Jon Gwyther and was much better too.

I think YOU will find these were done by the Glue Society (if you knew what you were talking about.)

Yep, it will sell.
That’s what we do folks!
Good job for a brand stuck in a category, but no more!
