Dusk conjures a Halloween affair in new campaign featuring OG Bachelor Tim Robards

This Halloween, dusk is casting its biggest spell yet with the launch of A Halloween Affair, a playful and spooky love story featuring Neighbours star and Australia’s original bachelor Tim Robards.

 

The campaign follows a lonely witch who flips open her book of love potions and casts a spell for the ultimate romance — and who should appear but Tim Robards, the Bachelor who started it all. But when magic is involved, love isn’t always straightforward… and this affair might have a few tricks hidden among the treats.

Dusk has built a reputation for delivering show-stopping Halloween collections –  and 2025 is no exception. This year’s lineup features the enchanting new Love Potion Collection, fan-favourite scented candles in irresistible fragrances like Boo-tterscotch Apple, Perfect Pumpkin, and Sweet Spell, plus the return of the iconic unscented bleeding skull candles.

“Every Halloween, dusk creates a little bit of magic, but this year we wanted to go bigger than ever,” says Jeremy Taylor, Chief Marketing Officer at dusk. “A Halloween Affair brings together spooky fun with a flirty twist, and who better to step out of our love potion spellbook than Australia’s first Bachelor Tim Robards?”

Says Robards: “I’m sure I’ve had a witch’s hex or two placed on me post bachelor days, but I think it’s a first to be in a witch’s book of love potions — I’ve been known to conjured up some magical romance myself, but this Halloween it’s about candles, spells, and sparks of a different kind. A Halloween Affair is cheeky, romantic, and just a little haunting (just like my marriage) — and exactly how Halloween should be.”

The A Halloween Affair collection launches in all dusk stores and online from Tuesday, 26 August 2025, while stocks last.
