Droga5 scoops ING Direct business; Soap Creative appointed to handle digital

CB Exclusive – Droga5 Sydney has scooped the prized ING Direct business, in a pitch against incumbent JackWattsCurrie, which has held the creative account since 2008 and BWM, which has handled the direct account since 2009.
CB understands Droga5 has been appointed lead agency with Soap Creative appointed to handle digital. The Dubs was the digital incumbent.
UM has been appointed to the $20m+ media account, following a three-way pitch against OMD and MEC. The incumbent was Mindshare, which has handled the business since 1999.

That campaign was enough to make you want to make orangutans extinct, just to make sure that ‘Charles’ was dead.

With no one left to pay the electric bill at JWC, there goes Charles, but a note to Droga5, be careful what you pitch for. Sometimes a win is not necessarily a win . . .if you know what we mean.
