Droga5 NZ appoints Anomaly London CD Nathan Cooper to creative partner role with O’Sullivan
Droga 5 New Zealand has appointed Anomaly London CD Nathan Cooper as creative director and creative partner working with Mike O’Sullivan. The news comes hot on the heels of the departure of Droga5 joint creative directors Corey Chalmers and Guy Roberts to Saatchi’s NZ.
At Anomaly Cooper was ECD and creative partner to Walter Campbell. Prior to that he’s had digital leadership roles at R/GA, Poke, Mother and Riot 180 Amsterdam. He has also been successful commercials director out of the late Paul Arden’s London production company – Arden Sutherland-Dodd.
Over his career Cooper has worked extensively across a number of disciplines spanning creative, production and strategy and has created comms, mobile, retail and digital work for a client list that includes Nokia, Nike, Adidas, BMW, BBC, IKEA, Playstation and Google.
His strong digital portfolio has been awarded numerous times, including recent Gold Lion and Webby honours. Cooper is the founder of and runs rubbishcorp.com (a widely read technology and communications blog) as well as a contributor to Anorak Magazine, an advertising tutor, and self proclaimed hardcore gamer. He’s also lucky enough to be married to a kiwi.
Says Droga5 creative partner, Mike O’Sullivan: “Nathan has worked at some of the world’s best creative shops. It’s a privilege to have him on board. With Guy and Corey heading to their new gig the timing couldn’t be better. We wish them all the very best.”
