Doritos’ Battle of the Flavours commences in new integrated burst via Clemenger BBDO, Sydney

Clemenger BBDO, Sydney and The Smith’s Snackfood Company have launched a campaign for two new Doritos flavours, Hot Mexican Salsa and Thai Sweet Chilli.
These flavours are played off against each other in Doritos’ Battle of the Flavours. Only one flavour will survive the battle and Aussie Doritos fans get to decide which flavour is hanging around and which one is going down.
The campaign is an continuation of the worldwide Battle of the Flavours. This is the Egyptian version, launch in 2009 and this is the US version in late 2010.

Um is it just me or is this just a blatant and shameless ripoff of the brilliant burger king campaign out of the States a few years back.

this agency has a a great record recently of copying old ideas and even copying there own. I think they’ve created about 5 facebook treasure hunts in teh last two years.
