Dodo Australia unveils ‘No Regret Internet’ in latest Dodo Next Door instalment via ATime&Place

| | No Comments

Dodo Australia has launched the next instalment of its Dodo Next Door campaign via ATime&Place, bringing the much loved character even closer to Australians as he helps them make sense of the nbn speed upgrade and switch to Dodo’s No Regret Internet.

In the new hero TVC, Dodo steps into his neighbours’ home, braving the wrath of their dog Hercules to find out what their family is looking for when it comes to their nbn needs. With his signature humour and warmth, Dodo becomes a friendly guide, helping Australians make the right decision and removing the guesswork from choosing the right internet plan.

It comes as many Australians are bombarded with info around the nbn speed upgrade, which was rolled out from October, positioning the brand as the no nonsense alternative with reliable service, top speeds and customer support for a low price.

The fully integrated campaign spans TV, online, outdoor, radio, PR, print, owned channels and affiliates.

Says Charles Baylis, Executive Creative Director at ATime&Place: “We’re evolving Dodo’s world by dropping him into ours. As an everyday Aussie, he shows just how simple choosing the right internet can be: fast enough to game, easy on the wallet, and reliable enough that your excuse for going ‘camera-off’ on Teams meetings is officially gone… sorry about that last one.”

Says Tony Timpanaro, General Manager Consumer Marketing at Dodo: “With so much noise around fibre upgrades, speed changes, tech types and more – Australians are still ultimately seeking fast speeds, reliability and value from their internet.  No Regret Internet is built around that idea, with the aim to help people understand what they need and give them confidence to switch. It is everything customers want and nothing they will regret. That’s the real deal.”

It is the latest piece of work for the Dodo Next Door campaign developed by ATime&Place and launched in late 2024.
