The service will specialise in designing and strengthening brand identity through the creation of music soundtracks for retail outlets – creating an experience for customers through sound, unique music production and live music solutions for events.

LFM_Sleeve_FA3-1024x1024.jpgSays Murphy: “Lights Fashion Music is the moment when fashion and music collide to allow designers and artists to express who they are and who they want the world to see.”

With Murphy’s expert technical knowledge and skills in music selection, creating playlists, mixing and production, Lights Fashion Music aims to bring brands to life through sound.

Murphy has long solidified himself as a member of the Australian and International dance music scene, with Lights Fashion Music the culmination of his extensive musical expertise, and love for fashion and innovation. With a Masters in Marketing and a drive for quality music that fits the scene, the project is an obvious progression for Murphy as a professional musician and artist.

The Lights Fashion Music website will be a hub for those who love music and fashion. With an integrated blog platform, the site will host looks books and interviews with fellow music artists and DJs, or anyone who has a fit with both music and fashion, showcasing their individual looks and style and highlighting the close link between music and fashion.

Together with OneLove Recordings, Lights Fashion Music will launch a compilation CD at this year’s L’Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival (LMFF), to also be available on iTunes. Murphy will be playing at the LMFF Opening Event VIP Party and at the L’Oréal Paris VIP Bar for the Vogue show.
