Director Tim Bullock brings the Twix Harmoniser to life in new campaign via adam&eveDDB London
Australian director Tim Bullock has directed the film for Twix’s new ‘Twix Harmoniser’ campaign. The Twix Harmoniser is a new digital tool that brings a fresh twist to voice messaging on WhatsApp. Designed by adam&eveDDB London in partnership with Meta, the tool leverages AI and digital technology to transform ordinary voice messages into harmonious duets, making even the most awkward or disappointing messages sound sweet.
Targeting an under-35 audience, the Twix Harmoniser taps into the popularity of voice notes, a communication method used by 37% of 18-34-year-olds. The tool allows users to record a voice message, share it with Twix on WhatsApp, and receive a harmonised version featuring two voices.
The campaign, which launches across Europe, is supported by an online film that humorously showcases the types of awkward moments where the Twix Harmoniser can turn a cringe-worthy message into a fun experience.
The launch is part of Twix’s strategy to appeal to younger consumers, moving away from polarising marketing to embrace ‘bothism,’ a concept that celebrates the combination of things. With 7 billion voice messages being sent daily on WhatsApp, the brand is leaning into culture-first marketing, using the tool to playfully engage with consumers.
The Twix Harmoniser is now available in France and Germany, with additional support from influencer and social media campaigns across Meta platforms.
