Director Israel Rivera joins Taxi’s roster

Director Israel Rivera has joined Taxi. Rivera is a filmmaker and photographer with an almost unmatched eye for capturing beautiful images. After building his aesthetic through many years as a beauty and fashion stills photographer, Rivera has turned his skills to crafting films and commercials.

He delights in finding inspirational images from times gone by and in hunting down the most obscure and intoxicating locations. Rivera will row boats, hike into the bush, drive to extremely remote places, walk past ‘no access’ points in collapsing buildings and stumble precariously through his veggie garden in the search of the perfect location.

Rivera has recently finished up working with Publicis Mojo directing the latest brand commercial for Air Asia.

Rivera’s photography work is another demonstration of his ability to create beautiful imagery. Israel captures stunning photos using minimal gear and often no lighting.
