Director Danny Cohen joins DIVISION

Melbourne-based director Danny Cohen has joined the DIVISION family for representation in Australia, New Zealand and Asia.

Cohen’s style is entirely unique; a blend of uncanny, vibrant visuals and an eccentric, absurd sense of humour.

His distinctive voice joins the roster of innovative Aussie directors at DIVISION, who’ve been celebrated and awarded internationally for their singular approach.

Working closely with iconic Australian musicians, Cohen developed an unmistakable visual style that’s been recognised globally. His video for Kirin J Callinan’s ‘Big Enough’ became a viral sensation and soared more than 60M views.

His first feature, ‘Anonymous Club’ premiered at SXSW internationally and at MIFF 69 nationally. The intimate, unprecedented 16mm documentary following Courtney Barnett’s global tour was lauded by critics for its raw, profoundly personal approach to filmmaking.
