Director Courtney Brookes joins Good Oil for exclusive representation in Australia and NZ
Bold, propulsive and playful, Good Oil’s newest director Courtney Brookes, tells stories that move to the beat of her own drum.
With an inimitable and unapologetic attitude, she creates vibrant worlds bursting with colour that explore the weird, the nuanced, and the downright gorgeous. And they often look better than our own reality.
Her work and singular flair has won her recognition in recent years. She took home the award for Emerging Director at the 42nd AWARD Awards, as well as the Shots Award for New Director of the Year in 2021. Her skills lie in bringing together colourful production design, kinetic camera work, and exuberant performances for an unforgettable cinematic experience.
Her commercial slate includes the heart-racing spot for the Volkswagen R-Range, which captured curated characters with undeniable energy. And her award-winning work for Bumble ‘Girls Will Be Girls’, capturing female empowerment with nuance and joy. Other spots include work for McCain, Lexus and Wolf Blass.
