DDB Sydney appoints former BMF copywriter Stephanie Allen to senior copywriter role
DDB Sydney has continued to strengthen its creative department with the addition of Stephanie Allen as senior copywriter, who joins the agency from BMF, where she spent almost six years as a copywriter.
Joining AWARD’s Agency Network of the Year, Allen will work alongside her new creative partner, Andrew Torrisi, who joined DDB in July 2021.
She has given back to the industry as an AWARD School tutor, and has been recognised at award shows including Effies, Shots, and AWARD Awards.
In 2020, she was named one of B&T’s 30 under 30 in the Creative category.
Says Matt Chandler, executive creative director, DDB Sydney: “I’m very, very (very) pleased Steph has joined us at DDB. She’s an exceptionally talented writer and thinker, not to mention a delightful person. I’ve been a fan for a couple of years, so I look forward to seeing the brilliant stuff she gets up to here.”
Says Allen: “I’m excited to work across DDB’s great range of clients and with an amazing bunch of talented and nice people.”
