DDB Group Aotearoa to launch ‘The Ad Gab’ podcast to celebrate women in advertising

DDB Group Aotearoa is set to launch its first-ever podcast series The Ad Gab, in recognition of the contributions women make across the global advertising industry.

The series will debut tomorrow on International Women’s Day, Saturday, 8 March 2025, with the first episode focusing on mentorship.

Featured guests include Kate Lines (above left), head of business management, and Phoebe Rooney (above right), junior copywriter, who will share their experiences as mentor and mentee through DDB’s Phyllis Project.

The Phyllis Project, now in its fifth year, is designed to support and advance women within DDB Group through mentoring, training, and advocacy. The podcast extends this mission by providing a platform to showcase female voices and perspectives in the industry. Future episodes will explore topics such as leadership, gender diversity, career progression, and work-life balance.

Building on DDB’s broader inclusion and diversity initiatives, The Ad Gab aims to amplify women’s voices and share meaningful conversations about their careers and challenges. The podcast will be available on Spotify and YouTube.
