CNortham1.jpgChris Northam, creative director at George Patterson Y&R has been promoted to a CD role at Y&R head office in New York.

As creative director of ADF, Northam has had a significant role in turning the brand into one of the most awarded in the region.

Says Melbourne ECD Ben Coulson: “Chris is world class and I think this will be just the ticket for him. I cant wait to see him light it up on a global stage, especially as he’s staying in the Y&R family. We will all miss him, but on the up side, there will be a lot more beer in the fridge every Friday.”

During his time in Melbourne, Northam credits include the Navy ‘Human Fleet’ campaign, AFL ‘Game Signatures’, Spring Valley ‘Sensibles’ integrated campaign, Cadbury Boost ‘Housemates’ campaign, Medibank ‘Life Cycle’ and Impossible Airfield content campaign.

No word as yet to who will fill Northam’s chair at the landmark Collins Street office.

Northam will report to Y&R NY chief creative officer Jim Elliott.
