Creative business Galore expands with Anna Borien joining as partner

Creative business Galore has announced an expansion to its leadership team with Anna Borien (right) joining as a partner in the business. The move comes as Galore significantly expands its international community of creative collaborators and has commenced work with a range of new clients.

Says Tim Kirby (left), founder of Galore: “To fuel Galore’s growth we needed to bring a partner into the business who shares our passion to find a better way for clients and creatives to work together. Anna has that passion in spades, along with a brilliant mix of skills and a proven track record of building high performance businesses. When you add that she’s a wonderful human, it was clear she’s the perfect partner to join our business and our community as we realise the potential of Galore’s innovative model.”

Borien has previously led teams in both the UK and Australia, working at agencies including Karmarama, Naked, Clemenger BBDO and WPP, and more recently has consulted to a range of independent agencies to build out their capabilities as they expand.

Says Borien: “It’s rare to find a business that is genuinely willing to unshackle itself from traditional industry norms and build new ways of using creativity to solve business problems – I wholeheartedly believe there’s a better way and am delighted to be proving it’s possible here at Galore. It’s clear from the progress that Galore has made already that we can deliver more of what clients need and less of what they don’t, while also being a supportive, respectful partner to independent creatives – it is possible to do it all! That desire to create a win-win relationship is what excites me, so I’m grateful to be here, partnering with Tim and delivering exactly that.”

Adds Kirby: “With so much great talent leaving the industry – either out of frustration, or because the industry simply doesn’t support them and their needs, it’s more important than ever for a different business model to exist, which empowers diverse talent to thrive.”

The Galore business combines an internal team of senior client partners with an international community of creative experts, both from within the creative services industry and from a diverse range of other creative professions. Galore then has a range of models for how to engage the community to generate solutions based on the demands of each brief.
