Creative agency Bashful launches family life forum for Lend Lease shopping centres
Sydney-based creative and strategic agency, Bashful has worked with Lend Lease to create a new community initiative, Family Life Forum to connect Lend Lease shopping centres closer to young families and their local communities.
Along with content partner Mamamia and public relations agency Stellar Concepts Australia, Bashful has set out to create a long idea that will live both on and offline.
Family Life Forum aims to help young families navigate through the maze of family life. From August 10 to September 17, the forum events will travel to NSW, Victoria, Queensland and WA at thirteen of Lend Lease’s regional and metropolitan shopping centres.
Curated by Lend Lease Family Life Forum ambassador, Mia Freedman and the team from Mamamia, each forum will debate the big issues relevant to Australian families in a lively and eye opening environment. The content will then live online for all to see.
Mamamia is Australia’s fastest growing independent website for smart, connected women with a social media army of more than 55,000 women. Attracting 250,000 unique browsers and 3 million views per month, it asks women what they think, providing them with a platform to connect and converse across a range of diverse topics.
Says Bashful director, Simon Bookallil: “We set out to develop an integrated idea that truly connects Lend Lease shopping centres with young families. Family Life Forum, will live beyond the physical events and will deliver young families an online forum and webinars that will help them navigate this complicated world we face as parents.”
Michael Dockery, general manager marketing, retail at Lend Lease says: “Apart from the obvious products and services that we offer families, we wanted to add value to our core market in an interesting and informative way. This initiative works to enhance our customers in centre experience as well as enabling them to connect with us on-line”.
Mia Freedman (left), publisher of Mamamia, a mother of three, popular newspaper columnist and commentator – will be joined by lifestyle expert Paula Joye – a married mother of two girls, Jo Lamble – relationship expert and resident psychologist on the Today Show and Rebecca Sparrow, also a mum, newspaper columnist and author. The team will share their tips, tricks and expert advice on challenging topics that are deemed pertinent to sustaining a strong family unit so every member of the audience will leave with new insights about their family life.
