Corbis Images launches flexible ‘OnDemand: Royalty-Free’ subscription option with 1m images
Corbis Images, a leading visual media provider for the creative community, today announced a new Royalty-Free (RF) subscription service to allow customers to easily access and purchase more than one million RF images.
The service, called ‘OnDemand: Royalty-Free’ will be available to all customers to help service their creative storytelling needs.
The new, flexible Corbis OnDemand: Royalty-Free subscription service means customers can enter into an agreement based on the number of monthly downloads they require, desired length of agreement and whether web resolution or both web and high-resolution images are licensed.
Once a subscription is set up, customers will be able to access and license images from a broad collection of over one million RF images. Corbis OnDemand: Royalty-Free also includes premium content, such as Corbis’ popular Fancy collection, a versatile and highly art-directed collection.
Says John Cosley, vice president of marketing for Corbis: “Creative professionals typically spend a significant amount of time finding and purchasing the right image, tying up vital resources in the process. Our new plan now means creatives can quickly access and download from a large collection of quality images through Corbis’ OnDemand: Royalty-Free. With our flexible terms and ability to change packages at any time, we are providing options to fit any budget or customer need.”
Subscribers to Corbis’ OnDemand: Royalty-Free service will receive renewal notices and assistance managing their download activity through the new, user-friendly online order history page. Meanwhile, image licenses last one-year from the download date.

Dominoes…there’s an original advertising image!
If the image licences only last 12 months from download then they are not Royalty Free images.
Most pathetic announcement. Pricing is horrible, but also when I want to buy, I told to call their sales people. No Purchase on Internet. I thought they were becoming an internet company.
