Colenso BBDO / Nexus Studios takes out Cannes Outdoor Lions Grand Prix for Pedigree ‘Adoptable’
Colenso BBDO have taken out the coveted Outdoor Grand Prix at Cannes Lions 2024. The achievement comes off the back of the agency winning the Audio & Radio Lions Grand Prix in 2023.
The winning work for Pedigree is yet another highlight in the long and successful partnership between Mars and Colenso. Developed with Nexus Studio, Adoptable is a first-of-its-kind machine-learning model that allows real dogs from local shelters to star in Pedigree advertisements. Adoptable uses AI to put adoptable shelter dogs at the center of global advertising, accelerating Pedigree’s mission to end dog homelessness, by turning every Pedigree ad into an ad for a shelter dog.

I’m going to help unhoused people get jobs, but instead of giving the unhoused person a shower and clean clothes (because that’s too hard) I’m going to “AI” map them onto a digital framework and then use those photos for their CV.
