Coke Zero launches AFL and NRL Footy Finals virtual Grand Final trophy hunt promo via TCO
To celebrate the culmination of an epic Footy season, Coke Zero alongside Coca-Cola and Diet Coke has launched an AFL and NRL virtual Grand Final Trophy hunt giving Aussies the chance to instantly win cash prizes during the finals via TCO.
Running from the 6th of August for eight weeks, the National Footy Finals promotion calls on Footy fans of both codes to find the hidden virtual Grand Final Trophy under the seats of the Coke Zero Virtual Football Stadium.
There are eight $10,000 prizes (1 per week) and hundreds of other cash prizes up for grabs, giving consumers more than one chance to get lucky throughout finals season.
To enter, consumers need to:
1. Purchase any specially marked Coke Zero, Coca-Cola or Diet Coke product
2. Register online and enter the unique code online at cokerewards.com.au
3. Flip a virtual seat in the Coke Zero Virtual Football Stadium
4. If they find the virtual Grand Final Trophy, they win.
Multiple marketing touch points will support the on-pack promotion including a 15 second national TVC as well as digital advertising leveraging the brand’s AFL and NRL footy association. Additionally, national, state and club specific point-of-sale (POS) has been issued calling on fans to get behind their favourite team for finals season.
Says Pamela Wyatt, Coke Zero marketing manager: “With Grand Final glory at stake, AFL and NRL fans are in for a hectic eight weeks, as footy fever reaches its peak.
“While in the end there can be only one winner for the AFL and NFL Grand Finals, our Footy Finals promotion gives loyal fans a chance to win while they’re stocking up on their favourite Coke products.”

Utter rubbish.
Utter crap. The standard of broadcast and content in this country continually gets worse. Half the stuff on the blog these days does not demonstrate the craft of advertising.
When are clients going to realise that a creative idea is what brings customers in – yet all they do these days is complain about lost revenue and sales.
No wonder when this is what is served up. There are just to many BTL companies attempting above the line work with budgets going to waste.
Hi
I’m wondering if I’m able to purchase one of your cardboard shields you have in coles stores? My 6 year old really wants one. I asked your bundeberg store and they said I have to contact you
Kind regards
