CHEP + DDB Australia named as global contenders in the 2024 Effie Global Best of the Best Awards

Effie Worldwide has announced the 58 top global contenders for its 2024 Effie Global Best of the Best Awards, honouring the most effective marketing campaigns from across the globe. Among the finalists are three standout campaigns from Australia, highlighting the country’s ongoing strength in strategic creativity and marketing effectiveness.

The Effie Global Best of the Best Awards only consider campaigns that have previously earned a Gold or Grand Effie in their local or regional competitions. As such, it represents the pinnacle of effectiveness recognition, drawing together a global showcase of marketing ideas that not only spark attention but deliver measurable results.

From Australia, CHEP Network appears twice in this year’s list. Its campaign for Samsung ‘From Hunted to Hunter: How Flipvertising Revolutionised a Digital Advertising Adventure and Captured Gen Z’s Attention’, has been named in the Media Idea / Innovation category. In addition, CHEP Network’s work for the Sydney Children’s Hospitals Foundation, ‘A New Sause of Revenue for Children in Hospital: Hospitals United for Sick Kids’, is a contender in the Sustained Success – Services category.

Also representing Australia is DDB Australia, recognised in the Social Media category for its campaign for McDonald’s Australia titled ‘Deals so Distracting They Were Unskippable’.

The Global Best of the Best program serves as a definitive benchmark for marketing effectiveness, celebrating the campaigns that not only break through creatively but deliver lasting business impact. Winners will be announced later this year.
