Chemists’ Own launches first brand campaign via Saatchi & Saatchi Australia
Chemists’ Own, Australia’s leading private label over-the-counter medication brand, has introduced its debut campaign via Saatchi & Saatchi Australia.
“There’s a Chemists’ Own For That” highlights the pharmaceutical firm’s diverse selection of daily remedies as viable alternatives to established brands, helping to bolster pharmacists’ ability to offer equally effective, cost-conscious options to their customers.
The new campaign features a series of digital and TVC films, as well as social and OOH elements.
Says Daniela Priekopa, general manager – marketing, health, Arrotex: “There’s a Chemists’ Own For That is the perfect encapsulation of our offering – remedies for all manner of every day ailments, every bit as good as the market leaders.
“We have high hopes that this campaign will drive permission for us to be in the conversation at the counter.”
Says Kerem Sekerci, associate creative director, Saatchi & Saatchi: “With the cost-of-living crisis really starting to pinch, it’s the perfect time for Chemists’ Own to be front of mind for customers.
“With its extensive range, and medicines containing the same active ingredients as the big brands, Chemists’ Own offers effective relief for whatever you need, without breaking the bank.
“We had a lot of fun creating the campaign and working with the amazing team at Arrotex. We’re looking forward to what’s next.”
Following a competitive pitch, the campaign marks the first piece of work from Saatchi & Saatchi since the agency won the account.

This work, I just wonder why the “cheaper because it’s generic” doesn’t come through? The cost of living comment didn’t seem to trickle through.
I’m glad I’m not the only person who leaves tissues up my nose to stop the sniffing/dripping and eventual dry skin around the nose. Nice one.
These will work. Well done.
Ah-ha! Familiprix
But not as funny
Boujee casting, though.
@Really like says. Perhaps we need to wait for the catalogue to come out?
This only serves as a marker for how far Saatchis have fallen from their days as a proud creative agency which was passionate about originality, creativity and excellence in the manner and culture of the founders.
Made itself did it? At least make some effort….
lol – it’s an ad for a budget line of chemist products. Relax.
It’s that attitude which will ensure that you reach the level of mediocrity you desire and deserve.
exactly – explains the state of mediocrity in Australia as a whole
Another one smashed out of the park by Simon. I can hear the Crownies popping from here! Jackpot.
A refreshing take on a stagnant market. Well done.
They’re fine for what they are, nice and simple except for the end lock ups which are a mess. Assumedly client driven.
Some nice creative thoughts in here that link back to nice film executions but the punter won’t care or get it. Here’s hoping these may just divert some of them from the big blue and yellow shop that’s on every corner but not convinced this will move the metric.
Seriously good work. Not going to win a gold lion, but it’ll probably win at AWARD. Great stuff
Is this “refreshing” tv for you lot?
Shame Dettol already had this in market.
