Celia Nicholas to launch Austin Studio

After five successful years as co-founder and managing director of Winifred, Celia Nicholas is starting her own independent production company, Austin Studio.

Austin Studio. will officially open its doors on July 1, and Nicholas will continue to service all existing Winifred clients, creative partners and collaborators delivering advertising campaigns, episodic branded entertainment and mixed reality projects.

Nicholas has 25 years’ production experience across film making, design, visual effects, and post-production disciplines. Celia co-founded Winifred with long-time friend Stuart Couzens in July 2017 and shifted her focus beyond the traditional advertising space and positioned herself and Winifred as an agile and multi-disciplinary production model.

Says Nicholas: “I’m excited to continue to innovate through creativity and focus on storytelling powered by curiosity, optimism and transformation. Stu has been a great supporter of my next move, a testament to great mates”.

Winifred will close on June 30.
