Cassette expands Sydney team with appointment of Emma Miller as PR senior account director
Independent creative communications agency Cassette has appointed Emma Miller as PR Senior Account Director in Sydney.
Miller brings with her a powerful mix of consumer and corporate experience gained in an almost 15-year career on brands such as LG Electronics, Vodafone, TikTok, Origin Energy, Optus, Salesforce, Greenstone Financial Services, Kimberly-Clark (Huggies and Poise) and Brown-Forman (Jack Daniel’s and Tequila Herradura).
In her new role, Miller will work closely with Cassette’s CEO Jessica White, Communications Director Jess Nunns, and Head of Strategy Sam Enshaw, to drive Cassette’s leadership and strengthen the agency’s presence in the Sydney market. She will focus on communications strategies for current and prospective clients, while actively seeking growth opportunities for Cassette’s creative, communications and content specialisations.
Says White: “We’re thrilled to welcome Emma to the team, she brings a wealth of consumer and corporate sector PR expertise that will strengthen our national presence and help us deliver even more impactful results for our clients.”
Miller’s experience spans both in-house and agency roles in Australia and Canada. She joins Cassette after a successful tenure at Endeavor’s Sport and Entertainment marketing agency, 160/90, where she was PR and Communications Lead for the Oceania market. Over the past decade in Australia, she has also worked at global agencies Hill+Knowlton and M&C Saatchi Sport & Entertainment.
Says Miller: “I’m excited to join the ambitious team at Cassette and can already see why it was recognised as one of the best workplaces in Australia. Cassette’s forward-thinking practices demonstrate the agency’s commitment to an innovative and supportive culture that truly puts both its clients and people first.”
In addition to multiple new senior hires, 2024 has seen a rebrand for Cassette, the launch of its ‘remixed thinking’ proposition, and industry recognition for both the business and its people. This year Cassette was announced as one of The Australian Financial Review’s Best Places to Work. In September, Head of Strategy Sam Enshaw was named one of AdNews Australia’s Emerging Leaders, and this month the agency was announced as a finalist in AdNews awards for Employer of the Year.
Cassette’s current client portfolio across its Melbourne and Sydney offices includes Starbucks Australia, Melbourne Airport, Scape, Lovisa, Forever New and the L’Oréal Group (with a remit spanning 12 brands including Armani beauty, CeraVe, Garnier, IT Cosmetics, Kiehl’s, La Roche- Posay, YSL Beauty and Prada Beauty), Mirvac and Cbus Property.
