Cancer Council Queensland launches the Ugly Xmas Rashie via Rumble Creative & Media
Rumble Creative & Media has headed down the path of product innovation to help Cancer Council Queensland fight cancer – and especially skin cancer – with the introduction of the Ugly Xmas Rashie.
Launched yesterday and already selling like hot cakes, all profits from every sale go to help Cancer Council Queensland in their fight to beat cancer.
Says Ginni Poppelwell, art director, Rumble: “We designed them for the way Aussies spend Christmas – on the beach or by the pool, building sandcastles, not snowmen.”
Rumble teamed with KOZII Swimwear, Gold Coast-based creators of performance swimwear to manufacture the high-quality Ugly Xmas Rashies, rated UPF 50.
Says Natalie Hodgskin, executive manager strategic marketing and partnerships at Cancer Council Queensland: “We’re proud to be the beneficiaries of this brilliant new product idea from Rumble – the Ugly Xmas Rashie really is the gift that keeps on giving.”
Says Nancy Hartley, creative partner, Rumble: “We feel our #uglyxmasrashie idea will become a powerful annual donation and awareness drive. At least two in three Australians will be diagnosed with skin cancer before age 70, so Cancer Council’s research and support is more important than ever.”
The Limited Edition 2015 Ugly Xmas Rashie has been released in a range of unisex sizes, available exclusively online at uglyxmasrashie.com.au.

Brilliant.
When an advertising agency works in ideas, not just advertising, something good has a chance of happening. And as an independent agency the idea managed to stay nimble and become real, rather than passing through a few layers of management seeking to get rub against it on the way through. Nice work.
This makes me proud. And homesick.
Amazing idea. Love it.
Nice work Rumblers, amazing stuff. Jealous.
Well done guys and gals. Love it!
