Creative company Bursty, alongside co-executive producers Wildbear, have announced that their documentary RUNN will screen for the first time publicly on Fox Sports and Kayo Freebies this evening, Tuesday the 16th of July at 8.30pm.

The joint production documentary continues Bursty’s partnership with Nedd, which started with the creative company supporting Nedd’s record run across Australia in 2022 which raised over $2 million for homeless charity WE ARE MOBILISE, where they managed all aspects of the run in a pro bono capacity, across content, creative, commercial partners, and event management.

RUNN follows the incredible journey of Nedd, an everyday electrician who had a mission: to run 4000 km across the continent, from the shimmering west coast to the famous sands of Bondi Beach in the east. But this wasn’t just a quest to break a world record—it was passionate crusade to support the homeless and shine a light on their plight.

The documentary captures his journey’s highs and lows with a spark of humour amidst the struggle. With exclusive access to Nedd and his team, the film immerses viewers in the intensity and beauty of his quest, showcasing his unwavering determination and the breathtaking Australian landscapes.

RUNN doesn’t just chronicle a physical feat; it delves into the deeper layers of Nedd’s motivation and the societal issue of homelessness. Through Nedd’s inspiring story, audiences are encouraged to confront challenges head-on and make a positive impact on their communities.

Executive producer and Bursty co-founder James Ward was excited to see Nedd’s documentary finally being shared after two successful preview screenings last week: “The feedback we have received on the documentary has been phenomenal – everyone is leaving with a new appreciation of Nedd’s epic run across Australia, but also motivated by his approach to giving back to people less fortunate in our world. There were tears, plenty of laughs and a very pumped-up crowd ready to follow Nedd’s lead.”

Foxtel will show the documentary tonight on Fox Sports after The Back Page at 8.30pm and all Australians can watch it for free on Kayo Freebies at any time from 8.30pm.

The documentary leads into Nedd’s next event which is called Nedd’s Uncomfortable Challenge where he is attempting to break the 1000-mile record across 10 days, and is encouraging Aussies to take on their own 10-day challenge and raise $10 million for homelessness charity We are Mobilise.
